Richard Duty b. Bef. 1751 in Granville Co., North Carolina_Who were his parents?

The information that I have states that “The Southern Branch of the Duty Family is believed to have been founded by three brothers, William, Matthew, and Richard Duty. These three brothers, according to tradition in the family of Richard Duty, came out of Maryland, down through Virginia, and settled permanently in North Carolina.”
I am descended from Richard Duty b. Bef. 1751 d. Abt. 1795 in Granville Co., North Carolina. He married
Elizabeth Thomas on September 28, 1773 in Granville Co., North Carolina. She was b. Bef. 1751 in Granville Co., North Carolina d. January 08, 1808 in Granville Co., North Carolina. My line is through their son George Duty.
Can anyone tell me who Richard Duty’s parents were? I would appreciate any help.
