Thank you for clearing up some of the Duty family confusion. Gordon and I have enjoyed the book, "A Family Called Duty 100 Generations". We try to purchase "quality" books pertaining to the Duty families when we travel on vacation. I have noticed a lot of sources on the Internet with a lot of different data listed for the same person. I am beginning to think our Teague Duty who was married to the Smiley sisters, is about as hard to trace (because of the name spelling) as your Christianna. Sorry, I am unable to help you further with your searching with her. If I happen to locate additional data, I will let you know. Hope someone can help both of us. Yes, this is definitely fun, especially for us, since we are retired and can spend more time researching the data. Do you know if anyone has printed a book on the Southern Branch of the Duty Family? Most of my husband's family are from the Southern Illinois area. If you don't know, would love to hear from others about it.
