DUSHANE in New Castle Co., DE mid 1700s
Posted by: Ron Vance Date: September 28, 2000 at 14:30:56

Per the minutes of the Pennsylvania Board of Property, in 1739 the Board resolved a land dispute between Garrett DUSHANE and John VANCE in "New Castle County" which is situated in present day Delaware.

Second, in 1751, Albert VanSANDT, farmer of St. George's Hundred, New Castle Co. made his will. Within it he mentioned his brother, Garrett VanSANDT, and his sister, Christian DUSHANE. Albert appointed John VANCE as trustee of his estate.

How are these DUSHANE, VANCE, and VanSANDT families connected? Thanks in advance for any and all replies.
