Hello Lorraine
It has been quite a while since we were in touch and I have been slowly building up my biographies of the Duryea photographers in Australia including Townsend. I want to relaunch my website on the family (which has been taken down for a while now) and include some of the photographs I have in my collection. I am still trying to sort out Townsend's movements and exactly where and when he and his sons had their studios. I have gathered a lot more information since our previous contact so please get in touch.
