Jerome, The book, "The Family of Harvard Elliot Clements", was written by Harriet Eloise Duryea Clements, the daughter of Lyman Harris Duryea and Minnie Emogene Chase. Lyman being the son of Andrew Jarvis Duryea and Amelia Parasade Harris. Eloise was my great aunt, her sister, Cynthia Genevieve being my grandmother. The 'Aunt Minnie and Jacob Grow' are Eloise's and Cynthia's mother and step dad. Following the death of Lyman Harris Duryea, Minnie Emogene Chase Duryea remarried a Jacob Grow who was a policeman in Buffalo, NY. They had no children. If you have more info on Jacob Grow I would appreciate it. Also, is your Grant Carpenter a brother to the William O.Carpenter who married Gertrude's sister Grace? I would like info on the Carpenters if you have it. In your first query you mention a brother of Gertrude named Andrew. I show only the brothers, Lyman and an Arthur Bruster. Is it possible Arthur was called Andrew? Do you have any more info on him? Arthur did die in 1955 but I do not know his wife's name or if there were any children.
