Duryea Family Genealogy Forum

Dear Mr. McCool and all you other Duryea researchers. I don't know if I'm a Duryea or not, but I remember a Duryea family visiting mine in the early 1960s in Chadron, Nebraska and my mother saying we were related to them, distantly.
Long story short, I recently found an old account book. It seems to have belonged to an Abraham Duryea and he wrote a "Chronological Table" about the family. I responded to this message because he has under births January 12, 1810 born Hannah Busson Duryear (Bussing?). 17 May 1816 died L? or S? D. the wife of G. C. D. (George Clinton Duryea, I think) leaving 2 infants whom she survived but five months, Adaline & Caroline.
The first birth on this page was Jacob Hownover Duryea born 24 May 1752.
Is any of this familiar to you? I've just looked it over. I'd be happy to photocopy the pages for you, if you'd like. It seems that this Abraham went to Yale, and there's some account of that as well. Hope to hear soon. Gail
