Dear F.U. (I get it--a favorite movie of mine as well),

Dan Duryea's full name was Daniel Edwin Duryea, and he was born in White Plains, Westchester County, New York on 23 January 1907 to Richard Hewlett Duryea and Mabel Hoffman. Dan married 15 April 1931 Helen Edith Bryan. Their sons are Peter Lane Duryea and Richard William Duryea. Peter, also an actor, was a player in the first TV episode of Star Trek.

Dan Duryea died in 1968, in Hollywood. He was indeed a very fine actor.

Having worked on the entire Duryea/Duryee family for several years, I invite all inquiries and information.
