Thank your very much for the extensive and prompt replies to my query. Above and beyond, as they say! While it seemed probable that this was a Jan^1 Durie line, having confirmation is quite important on several levels.
The IGI carries several entries of Duryea family in Park Ridge, New Jersey. I had tentatively assigned these as Durie descendants as well. By kindly adding the descendancy of the progeny of Jacobus (James) Durye(a) into Park Ridge, you have also helped clarify that presumption and even precluded pending queries concerning the Duryea-Van Wart and Duryea-Cleveland marriages.
