WANTED- DURRETT MEN!!
We need the help of ALL DURRETT MALES to solve the mystery. Family Tree DNA uses a painless cheek swab test for a low fee, but if cost is a problem, there are scholarships available to help defray the cost.
THE MYSTERY- Our Durrett ancestors arrived in Virginia in the early 1700's. Through the 1800's, they settled in many other states, including Kentucky, Tennessee, South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, Texas, etc.
Where- The Durrett name is French. And Where in France did they originate and what other country or countries did they sail to before they sailed to America.
NEEDED- We NEED MORE Durrett MALES to help us in our research by providing additional clues through DNA testing..

DNA Testing- Through DNA testing we have proven the relationship between Francis Durrett who owned land in 1724 and Bartholomew who owned land in 1737. Without more clues we are unable to determine the actual relationship between the Durrett men who settled in Virginia. By doing DNA test YOU will be helping provide information that cannot be found any other way, because father’s and son’s carry the same DNA make-up. HELP US SOLVE THE DURRETT MYSTERY. We can’t do it without you. Won’t you please help?
