I've spent some time assembling data on all Durretts linked to this family, and do believe the above five are very likely all brothers, or at the least first cousins if Paul had a brother, possibly John of 1704. Here are the clues I've assembled: Evidence of relatedness: Paul to Francis - Huguenot records of Francis' naturalization, naming parents. 1703 DNA evidence - Francis and Bartholomew descendants match DNA pattern. Thanks to Joy Durrett for this project. William Durrett md. Ann Yarborough, whose father owned adjacent land to Francis Durrett in 1726. William involved with Micajah Chiles family in 1736, one of whom md. dtr of John John, wife Mary, and Bartholomew in same land deal 1739. Choice of John as executor for Francis - 1757 Choice of Wm., son of Bartholomew, as exec & adm. for the estates of Francis II in 1781 and his dtr. Rebecca in 1785. Bartholomew and Richard who md. Sarah Hampton own adjacent lands on Prittys Creek 1737. Bartholomew's son Joel chose Richard as guardian in 1763 I will be posting family groupings on the above shortly, additional primary evidence appreciated. Gene Rooks, Gotha, Fla.
