I have letters indicating family history, and am looking for more information. I have the following: Thomas Jefferson had one brother, Randolph Jefferson; Randolph married his cousin, Anna Scott Lewis (sister of Col. Meriwether Lewis). From this union a number of children were born, one, Robert Lewis Jefferson who married Betsy Ann Moorman. From this union came one child, Mary Elizabeth Moorman, who married Ablert Weems Gautt. They had six children, the eldest Eva Weems, who married Robert Durrett. They had six children, Bessie Gautt, Robert Weems, Richard Franklin, Eulas Jefferson, Henry Jefferson, and Eva Marian. Robert Weems Durrett, was my grandfather, born in 1878 in Scottsville, VA. Robert Weems Durrett went to Miller Manual School at age 12 and on to graduate at the University of VA, not sure when he graduated but have gymnastics medals he won in 1896, 1897 etc. He married Mary Cummins Bullitt, from KY around 1903 or 1905. What I know of his brothers and sisters is: Eula died unmarried at age 20. Richard Franklin (Frank) was a professor in the 40's at William and Mary College in VA. Eva married a man named Dickie, and was residing in Washington D.C. in the 40's. Jeff died in 1944 and left a son named Albert Beard Durrett. Looking for any information on these Durrett's, and the Robert Durrett that married Eva Weems, and any information that can be determined from the information I have provided. We used to have a family tree, but it was lost. What I have is contained in a letter my Dad (James Bullitt Durrett) wrote in 1945 to familly members during WW II.
