I am related to Ann Durrett (1746-1794) who married Robert Sanford (1734-1787) in 1759 in Orange county. Her parents were Richard Durrett (1722-1784) and Sarah Hampton (1722- --?-) who married before 1742 in Ablemarle VA.

Richard Durrett's father is said to be Barthalamew Durrett, born about 1666.

Sarah Hampton is said to be the Daughter of William Hampton (1685-1750) and Martha Catlett (1690-1761) who were married in 1721 in VA, There is a lot of controversy over whether or not Martha Catlett was the mother of Sarah or the wife of William Hampton.

The Hampton and Catlett lines can be traced back to the 1500s.

Anyone have any information on the above
