They had a bunch of children born in Georgia, Alabama and Mississippi, as the family moved west. The ones that I know about:
Daughter (born 1830), Thomas Jefferson [Bryce/Brice] (1832-1913), John (1833-1862), Francis (1835), Penelope (1837-1850), Agnes Ellen (1838-1927), James (1840-1864), Lewis [sometimes shown as Louis] (1842-1929), "Ruben" (1844-1864), Hosea (1846-1929), Mary Jane (1848), twins--Caroline and Elmira (1850), and Kyle [Kile] (1852). I am confident of dates shown for Thomas J. and Agnes Ellen (Durrett) Benge [their gravestones are in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Cherokee County, TX]; the other dates came from unconfirmed sources.
