I cannot be certain which of the three brothers I am decended from, John, Richard, or Bartholomew. These three brothers came from England and are on record as being in Spotsylvania County before 1737. The records show Richard patented 300 acres of land on Priddy's Creek in Hanover County, Va. in 1738.
