On page 162 is the deposition of Wm. P. Pettus, who states that the names of the heirs of Francis Durrett dec'd are Eliza Mitchell, wife of Wm. C. Mitchell; Lucy Sessums wife of R.H. Sessums; Emily Barnes the wife of S. Barns, George Durrett, all over 21. Jane Hawkins the wife of A.B. Hawkins, Elizabeth Rhea wife of Alexander Rhea, Francis Durrett, Annis Durrett, Aviraller Durrett, Wm. Durrett, Martha Durrett, Martha Durrett, all under 21. Notice publ. in the Florence Gazette. W.W. Pettus made deposition. concurring. 14 Feb 1839

of Annis Durrett represents that she is the widow and relict of Francis Durrett dec'd; that at the time of his death he was possessed of about 360 acres of land on which he resided, and asks for her dower. Nov. 26,1838.
