I am a direct descendent of Bartholomew Durrett of VA. I have the family history from around 1700 in the Spotsylvania/Fredericksburg areas but cannot find anything that shows they came from England (although family legend says they did). Would love to find where/when they came to US. I will be happy to share what I have.
