In the "History of the Town of Durham, New Hampshire" reprinted in 1994, Rachel and susan are listed as captured and married in Canada. This book says that hisfamily was abducted at several different times: Aug. 13, 1701, and again in 1726. If you like, I can ask a cousin in Quebec who lives near the Abinaki fort to check the records for these tow girls. My ancestor, Mercey Adams was carried to this fort near Trois Rivieres Quebec and later married into a French fmaily. Her records can be found St. Francois du Lac,Yamaska, Quebec5, Canada. You may be able to find your records there, too by checking the church registers, or contacting the fort which now has an interpretive center.
