HELP, I am looking for a Cecil Harry Durrant, in Essex and Cambridge Counties

I am hoping someone can help me in my search. I am looking for a Cecil Harry Durrant, DOB: approx. 1898.In 1921 he is listed as a Private 5765484 C.Company, 1st. Batt. Norfolk Regt. with his residence at North St, Burwell.
He married my grandmother Hilda May Moss in 1921 and they had 3 children, including my mother Joyce.
He left the family in 1925 and disappeared, never to contact them again. My mother never knew him and she would love to get any information about him she could.
His father's name was Harry Durrant.
That's all I have to go on, any help would be greatly appreciated.
Karen from U.S.A.
