There were scads of Richardsons in early 1800s Grayson County and many in 1780 Montgomery County. Most came from Bedford County.

But nary a Samuel.

\By 1820, I find five Samuels in Virginia - two in Botetourt County, one each in Halifax, York and Shenandoash counties.
