I am looking for descendants of Henderson B. Durnil and anyone who may be able to help me verify his parents. He was born in Virginia on August 23,1816 and died in Carroll County, Mo. on April 5, 1862. He was a blacksmith. He married (1) Margaret Neal in Harlan County, Kentucky in 1836 and (2) Jacintha (Cynthia) Calvert Hawkins in Boone County, Mo. on 10-10-1850.

Henderson and Margaret had five sons...
William Patrick Durnil b. 4-25-1838 and d. 2-15-1913,
Jerome H. Durnil, b. 1841,
Eli N. Durnil, b. 1843,
James H. Durnil, b. 1845 in Carroll Co., Mo.
Benjamine Franklin Durnil, b. 1846 in Carroll Co., Mo.

Henderson and Jacintha had four children...

Susan Amanda Durnil, b. 3-30-1859,
Molly Durnil, b ?.

William Patrick Durnil is my g-grandfather. He married Sarah Elizabeth Garber 2-20-1866. They had fifteen children...

Mary Ella Durnil, b. 2-12-1885, d. 1-7-1965,
Vyda Belle Durnil, b. 7-23-1886,

Lula Tennessee Durnil, b. 3-8-1890,
Carl Lee Durnil (twin), b. 3-22-1895, d. 3-29-1895,
Clarence Lee Durnil (twin), b. 3-22-1895, d. 3-29-1895.

James Franklin Durnil, my grandfather, married Hattie Plaster. My father, William Henderson Durnil, married Gladys Calvert in 1942. They both grew up in Missouri but have lived in Illinois most of their married lives.

Any information on this family would be appreciated.
