I also thought I should post this information as well since someone mentioned that Elizabeth's name was Wheeler, and someone else mentioned Keziah. Elizabeth's name may have been recorded as Wheeler at some point, but from our information it was also recorded as Wheelis.

Children of William Durley and Penelope Ing were as follows:
i       Joseph John7 Durley, born abt. 1804 in NC. He married Lutetia Ann Lovel.
ii       Henry7 Durley, born 11 Sep 1805 in TN. He married Elizabeth Wheelis.
iii       George Washington7 Durley, born abt. 1807 in TN. He married Eliza Ann Hunt.
iv       William7 Durley (Jr), born 10 Mar 1810 in TN. He married Sarah Ann Hall.
v       Mahuldah7 Durley, born abt. 1812 in TN. She married Nathan Parker.
vi       Jemima E.7 Durley, born abt. 1815 in TN. She married Wilson D. Hunt.
vii       Keziah A.7 Durley, born 25 Feb 1817 in TN. She married William Henry Gant.
viii       Horatio7 Durley, born abt. 1820 in TN; died 30 Jun 1862 in Gibson Co, TN. Enumerated on p305 (household 2518) of the 1850 census of Gibson Co TN, Dist 12, as: age 31, carpenter born TN, with [mother] Penelope, age 34[sic], born NC. Enumerated on p324 (household #1824) of the 1860 census of the 12th Dist of Gibson Co as: H. Durley, 40, born TN, farmer worth $1500/$3500. J.M. Ing's family & Isaac Ing were living in his household, which was immediately between those of Eli W. & Joseph Ing. In a 1904 letter, my father stated that he was called Hoodsia. [There might be a connection between that and Horatio Sr & Jr being labelled Hosea in a 1795 Edgecombe Co NC land transaction.] Never married. In his Apr 1862 LWT, marked with an "x", he left to his sister Keziah Gant his woman Mary (who had been deeded to him by his mother in 1853) and her children Ernie & Richard, who were enumerated in the 1870 census as mulatoes. He left to his nephew William a grey colt and to his brother J.J. 3 barrels of corn, 300 lbs of bacon, & 3 hogs.

I hope this is helpful!
