My Mother's father was Joseph Stephen Durkin. Don't know much about this side of the family except he lived in the Newburgh, NY area. I think he had about 10 brothers and sisters. This is not far from Brewster. When I lived in North Salem, NY, I tried to find a little out, but not much luck. JSD married Mary Stewart Bushfield, who was from the Newburgh and Goshin area. Stewart air field was from her father.
