I'm looking for information about my Great-Great-Grandparents.
The only information I have is his name: William Durkin. Who is his wife? When did he come to Canada? Where in Ireland did he come from?
His children were born in Ottawa, Canada and those I know of moved to North Dakota in the US around 1882.
His son Patrick Durkin was married in Palmerstown, Perth County, Ontario to Anna Kelly in the year 1881. Their first child was born there and by the time the second child was born they were in the North Dakota.
Patrick's brothers and sisters were:
Thomas Michael Durkin, married Maggie Bushaw; Katherin Durkin(Kitty) never married;
Sarah Durkin, who married a Jamieson and returned to Canada; Elizabeth Durkin(Lizzie) who married a Mike O'brien(who died) and she married a second time to Lester Olmstead; James Durkin(Jim), who married Rose Ann Bushaw; and a Andy Durkin, who was the youngest and shown on the Dakota Census to been living with a Sarah Durkin who is 75 years and who be too old to be a sister or brother. If anyone can make a connection with this family, I would love to here from you, Please.
