I am trying to find the connection between Patrick Alfred Durkin (b. 17 Feb 1865) and Bridget Durcan O'Malley without much success. Bridget married William O'Malley Feb 22 1883. It said her father's name was Martin Durcan gave her address as Wasteland, Louisburgh District and said she was 24 years old.

Patrick was born Address Tallanbaun Louisburgh District. His father was Martin Durkan and Mother Anne nee Stanton. Patrick's siblings were Catherine (b 22 July 1869), Michael (b. 20 Sept 1873),Mary (b. 2 Jan 1868), Anne (20 Nov 1878), Margaret (16 Feb 1878) By the 1881 census Patrick was in Liverpool as a food salesman apprentice, on the 1891 census he was shown as head of household pig salesman with brother Michael and sister Catherine living with him. On the 1901 he was married to Helen (nee caulfield) and infant son Martin Francis Durkin as well as nephew 8 year old James O'Malley (Bridget's son. When Bidget O'Malley died 1915 in Winwick near Warrington last address 78 Soho St Liverpool (at age 51 the death record said)the owner of the grave where she was buried in Ford cemetery was Patrick Alfred Durkin.

When Bridget's daughter Annie O'Malley sailed to the US 1919 the ship record said her last address was with Uncle P Durkin 78 Soho St Liverpool.
