Hi Cathie,
So glad we're talking about same family. I know or knew some of your husband's cousins. I have a vague memory of meeting their grandmother Bridget Durkin Jordan when I was about 5yrs old, - we called her "Buddie", possibly couldn't pronounce Bridget !!. Her son Anthony Jordan married Mary Gorman also of Brackloon. They had a large family, the eldest Thomas, born circa 1948, followed by Della, Ann, James, Anthony, Eddie,Evelyn or Ellen and possibly more.I met with Della and Ann in London about 1972 but no idea of their whereabouts now.

My g grandfather Thomas Jordan, married Sarah Gavan 1872 and lived in Brackloon until some time after 1901. My guess is your Thomas and my Thomas were first cousins because I met "Buddie" due to a family connection.
Please e mail me at garraiard1@eircom.net if you would like to keep up contact.
Regards. Ann
