Good to hear from you. It really sounds like we are from the same family line.My mother says she heard that the Durkan family still live in Cloontubbrid and that Eddie Joe Durkan who was my Granny Catherine Durkan's first cousin lived there until his death. I would love to see your family tree to compare notes. To be honest i dont have alot of information on the Durkan side of my family as Patrick Durkan moved to Kilgarriff Charlestown when he married my great Granny. He had 3 girls but died in England when my Granny was 3. He is buried there. I have found a lot of information on the leitrim-roscommon 1901 census website. It gives all the names of family members and their ages in households in the area in this year.
