Hi John,

It is so good to hear that I am not the only one researching this family.

Elizabeth Linskey is my great grandmother. So my Grandfather Leonard Cannon must be your dads cousin. Elizabeth married James Cannon who died in WW1.

I have tracked the Durkins back to a small village near Swineford in County Mayo, Ireland. As for the Linskeys I have a copy of Thomas and Marys marriage certificate and his father is listed as Henry Linskey.

Mary Durkins parents were Martin Durkin & Bridget Devanny they got married in Rubble, Killasser 27th Jan 1848.

I can send you copies of the info via the email if you want and would be grateful for any information that you can share with me.

Regards
Caroline
