My father's name was John Durkin, born in Cashel, County Sligo, Ireland. ( Born 6/12/06 and died on 2/22/1980 ) His mother's maiden name was Mary Anne Gallagher. He came from of family of 9. Immigrated to the US in early 1930's. Married an Agnes Flynn of Tobbercury, County Sligo, Ireland in Chicago, IL in 1934. He lived most of his life on the south side of Chicago.
