Looking for my great great grandfather Owen DURKIN. He was a U.S.Army Private, assigned to Company I, 7th Infantry Regiment stationed at Fort Belknap, Texas in 1858 and 1859. He was from Louisville Kentucky. He Married Mildred Jane Carter in 1858 at Fort Belknap. He was murdered by two other soldiers at Fort Belknap on 2-4-1859. This is all the information we have at this time. If any one has any information about Owen DURKIN please advise. Will be eternally greatfull
