My great grandfather was Thomas J. Durkin. He was born in Sligo Ireland between 1844 and 1846. He came to USA between 1865-1868 and settled in Steuben County, Erwin Township, NY. He was naturalized a US citizen in 1878. He married Catherine Mulligan in 1879. Thomas died 1929 and Catherine died 1934. They had 8 children. Some stayed in NY and others went to PA around Carbondale. Any information on the Carbondale Durkins would be greatly appreciated. I believe Thomas's parents were Patrick Durkin and Mary Kelly or Kennedy. Do not know if they came to US. Have no information on brothers or sisters of Thomas.
