Hello,
I am a emeritus professor doing research on South El Monte, CA (formerly El Monte Township). I would appreciate being able to meet or correspond with Durfees, Wynes or anyone else interested in the old days when James D. Durfee and his brother George and families made significant contributions to their community.
I am about 45 miles east of Los Angeles and visit the area around Durfee Avenue in South El Monte regularly. I would be very pleased to share my information with you.
