Abner Durfee was born abt 1781 in Providence
County, R.I. He was the son of John Durfee. I do not know his mother's name. He married Ellatheir Hix He died at Leon, Cattaragus County, N.Y.
He had children Chase H. , Coomer, Olive, Abner, JR, Melinda, Joseph who died as an infant, Joseph Plank and Nancy. Joseph Plank married Cybelia C. Goodrich. Abner , SR was a brpther to my great great grandfather, Otis L. Durfee. Would like to corespond with any of the descendats of this family.
