Jefferson seems to be a common name in my Durfey line, my great grandfather was Wellington Jefferson and named a son William Jefferson, and another may have been James Jefferson. I have just recently received a picture from a cousin with "Jefferson Davis Durfey, born 1822" written on it. Does your research make any mention of a Jefferson born 1822?
