I decided to play with the internet last night and found this information on the Durfee brothers. Andrew and Lewis Durfee were brothers who both married Lidia Parker. These brothers were the parents of Dr William Fielding Durfee and Lucreta Moore (his 2nd wife). William went to Saline Co., Il in 1854 and was listed as a doctor and grocer. Wliiam's father was listed as Ebund D'urfe and his mother was listed as Margaret Welch. Nothing more on Ebund, but Margaret in Buried in KY and was born March 17, 1778 and died Dec 18, 1849. William and Lucreta are buried in Little Saline Cemetery, Il.
