I am trying to find the parents of Delia Durfee, Palmyra NY.
She was married in a double wedding. She married Edmond Champion 1829 In NY .also married at the same time by Rev
Eustace was Ann Durfee to Harvey Cobb(Ann believed to be daughter of Edward and Susanna?). I believe Delia is lost soul not associated with anyone yet and has not popped up in any research or family trees I can find. I have a copy of the newspaper announcement if any one would like to have it.
This family may have moved on to Michigan btween 1835-1840as there is an Edmond in the 1850 census but have not accessed the details yet.
Would some one please do a look up in this book to see if there are any clues--like someone having a first name or middle name of Delia..or could this be the middle name ofa daughter of Gideon, Henry or someone else in the area at this time.
Two Durfees marrying at the same time is not by chance so need to make this family link. I also have the whole champion line to 1615(came from Thomas Champion Hempstead NY line)
Any suggestions as to how to find her birth/christening record at a church?
