I have read all the past postings on Ebenezer Durfee. Thought I should contact you. I am a g g granddaughter of Emma Durfee, Francillo's daughter. I also live about 7 miles from Providence, where he is buried, I believe I read. If I can help by reading gravesite, etc. let me know. I'd also love to keep in contact with you, and hopefully, be able to get a copy of the histories you are compiling.
I had not heard that the Durfee's came from Ireland. That's a new one to our family.
The last names I had on Durfee lines were:
Joseph Durfee & Abigail Buck, Isaac Newton & Grace Garfield, John Bellows & Sarah Johnson,
Jacob Jones & Hannah____, and Jacob Peaslee and Hulda Brown.
