I have a Mary Durfee born 24 Jun 1776 in Tiverton, R.I. She was the daughter of James & Mary (Burrington) Durfee. Many girls named Mary were called Polly back then. Mary married William Hall of Portsmouth , R.I. on 6 Dec 1792 in Tiverton. She died 26 Jan 1816 in Madison , N.Y. James Hall was the son of George & Charity (Fish) Hall, born in Portsmouth, R.I., the 1st of Sep 1853& died
. in Waterville, Onieda Co., N.Y. Their children were : James ; Ruth; Clarissa; William; Stephen; David; Sarah; George; Joseph; Mary; Amelia Charity. Mr. Hall was a farmer and belonged to the Quaker religion. I have some information on the children's families.
