I am not connected to this family but have something I copied while in Benton Co. MO. I copied it because of the Feaster name. Deed Bk G p. 153, 1857: Land sold to William S. Feaster in 1857 as 7/8 share of land as heir of Maren Duran. Other heirs were Alason Glover and wife Mary; John A. Baldwin and wife Sarah; Hudson P. Reed and wife Elizabeth A.; Andre J. Harryman and wife Malinda; Manen Duren; William J. Jones and wife Eliza F.; and William C. Duran. My line of Feasters is from Levi and Elizabeth Reed Feaster who were married in Washington Co. TN. William S. is one of their sons and his wife was Louvisa Ross whom he married in 1842 in Morgan Co. MO. Do you have any idea as to why William Feaster would be named as an heir? I see there is a Hudson P. Reed named. Since I do not have any idea about the family of Elizabeth Reed Feaster, that might be a connection. What do you think?
