You are right, I was reading from the wrong line in my notes. Here is what I have.In 1702, while working his farm, William Logsdon spotted a British ship anchored in the river, and decided to inspect its "cargo", where he met Honora. Honora was born in 1678 inKerry County, Ireland. I don't know of anyone who has researched her parents. William was born in Melchbourne, England, where his family had lived for several generations. Here is his lineage (thanks to Don Durbin)
William,s father,James Logsdon, b. Jun 1631 in Melchbourne, Bedford, England, d. in England, m. 26 Jan 1662 in St. Johns Parish, Bedford, England Jane James, b. 14 Feb 1641 in England.
Anthony Logsdon, b. Abt. 1603 in Melchbourne, Bedford, England, d. in England, m. 1629/1630 in Shelton Parish, Bedfordshire, England Ellen Mee, b.in England, d. 4 Dec 1650 in Melchbourne, Bedford, England.
John Logsdon, b. Abt. 1576 in Eton Soco, Bedfordshire, England, d. 1621 in Melchbourne, Bedford, England, m. Katherine _____.
Richard Logsdon, b. Abt. 1500/1540, m. Bridgett _____.
Parents of Jane James, above, were William James, b. 1618 in England, m.Jane Connaway, Chr. 15 Feb 1599 in St. Johns Parish, Bedford, England.Jane Connaway's parents were Leonard Connaway, m. 30 Oct 1589 Ann Wilson.
Parents of Ellen Mee, above, were Gilbert Mee, m. 3 Nov 1609 in England Jane Meadows.
I am descended from William through their son John.I also have four different Durbin interconnections, so we are probably cousins ten times over!
