Elizabeth was the daughter of a James Durant, by his wife, also called Elizabeth. I have no details as to any other children for this couple.
Elizabeth was christened at Gravesend in 1794, and married James Stiow at Queenborough, Kent in 1812. Their children's names were William James, James Benjamin, Friend, Mercy, John, Henry Horatio, Marly, Emily and Marly George.
Elizabeth died at Charlton, Kent in 1851.
