hello again,
this is what Bonnie had emailed me.

Sory, I overlooked GEORGE DURANT, he too was the son of PIERRE DURANT, was 1/2 Choctaw and 1/2 Franch. George attended the Choctaw Academy in Kentucky from 1826 - 1832. He moved west in 1845, taking with him his family of nine persons. In the 1855 census he is listed as living in Boktuklo County, with the family consisting of GEORGE, VISEE, WALLIS, ALEXANDER, FANNY, SIMPSON, ELIZA, and PHYLLIS.

Geroge was a candidate for Principal Chief in 1874. He had two wives, one VISEY, the other MOLLY. HI also had children named :
1 WILSON, born 1840
2 ALEXANDER R. born 1835, married SALLY.He lived at Grant, Oklahoma in 1901. He had at least two childre, ETNA RAE DURANT, born June 24, 1899, and GEORGE E. F. DURANT who died on October 18, 1899.

3 FANNY married to RICHARD "DICK" CROWDER who was born in 1838, teh son of Eli W. Crowder. Fannie Duranbt Crowder died on March 26, 1901. In December of 1901 Richard remarried to MARY ELLEN KELLY, born in 1881.
4 SIMPSON
5 ELIZA
6 PHYLLIS
