Looking for the father of Henry Durant (Durrant) of Sheffield, Berkshire, MA. Henry would have been born about 1750-1770 and married (abt 1785) Lucy Rembelow of Berkshire Co, MA. Lucy was the daughter of Thomas Rumbelow. Both Thomas and Henry were in the 1790 census of Berkshire Co. Any information about possible Henry Durants born in this timeframe or any early Durant family who moved to Berkshire Co. or eastern Ma is appreciated.
Henry was the father of Cornelius Durant (1789), identified in the will of Thomas Rumbelow.
