Durant Family Genealogy Forum

Hi, Richard,
I spent yesterday in the four oldest cemeteries in Westford, and came upon Isaac Durant and his wife late in the day--said hello. What I wanted to say was that I also encountered a (very) few Duttons and one Jaquith in Westford. Now all I have to do is fit them in somewhere.
One other point that struck me as curious. Henry Durant married (second) Mary Corey Perry. I have yet to find any Coreys buried in either Chelmsford or Westford, save one very very early cemetery near Carlisle with unmarked stones. I did find Mary's daughter Esther by her first husband, James Perry, buried in Westford. But that's not my question. Henry and Mary named one of their two sons Nathan Parker Durant. Parker is an extremely common name in the Westford/Chelmsford cemeteries. As far as I can tell, neither has any Parker ancestry--unless we want to suggest that Henry Sr. had some Parker blood. Any thoughts?
