absolutly fascinating! Wish I had more time to "play" on the computer. I sure am going to try looking around where you suggest. You also gave me a little unexpected info on my family I think. I need to check further but the "jest" of it is that William Carter had a sister Sara Ann who married a Mr. Sanders. Their children were Jim and Brooks but I have never been able to get Mr. Sanders' first name. It might be that this is the Bartlett Sanders you mention. Seems very likely that this could be the case. And I do want to learn more about Mr. McIntosh....Some pieces may be made clear about the lives of the people in this area of SC as well. Additionaly, William Carter had another sister named Rachel who was married to a Reese Durant. Interesting!
