Looking for information on Jesse L. Dupuy and family. I know very little beyond this:
Jesse L. Dupuy Married Mary (Maryan) Sturdivant in 1805.
A family letter mentions that the Dupuy family settled in Virginia (north of Richmond in a place called "minican town.") They were of Huguenot descent (who immigrated to America, possibly after leaving France for Germany).
The family later turns up in Kentucky (Flemingburg), where daughter Virginia Dupuy marries William C. Cord in 1849.
