Thank you so much for your quick reply. I am ttrying to prove a theory that James Foster was the father of Elizabeth Foster who married Eleazar Hardeman in 1801 in Davidson Co., Tn. Their first daughter was named, Martha Dupuy Hardeman.

In the narrative of Daniel Trabue [1760-] son of Olympia DuPuy he states that James Foster married his aunt.

Hopefully with a few more documents I can start to test the theory. My only concern is the age of Martha and James. The will indicates two daughter under 18, that is good news, If my Elizabeth is a daughter she would be born not long after the will.
