My husband's grandmother was Willie Hettie Dupuy b 1879 in Abbeville LA to Pierre Duval Dupuy and Cecilia Alice Ellis.
Cecilia's parents were John H Ellis and Victorine Dupuy b 1829 in St. Martin Parish to Victor Dupuis and Modeste Emee LeBlanc. Victor was son to Jean Baptiste Dupuis and Isabelle Benoit. Jean was b abt 1752 in GrandPre Acadia to Antoine Dupuis and Marie Margurite Boudreau.
All I have been able to find on Pierre Duval Dupuy is that his father was Pierre and mother was Eugene Marie Carmelite LeBlanc b ca 1796 .
My sources were from Father Hebert's books and from census records.
Am I correct to your knowledge on this genealogy from Grand Pre Acadia?
