I recently discover on this site the Depuy family !! in Nova Scotia. Sorry but there is no Depuy ancestor of that name in Acadia, i be please to know who change his name from Dupuis to Depuy this will help a lot to the people to search for nothing please help to SOLVE THIS PROBLEM.
I am aware this name come the France but after the deportation by the British the french name was translated in English we have the same problem with OTHER AKA.
such as Wells Dupries etc etc there is along list...Gaston
