Nicholas DuPui (baptised 3 Dec. 1682 in Kingston, Ulster
Co., NY) was the son of Moses DuPuy and Maria Wynkoop. He is the grandson of Nicholas DuPuy and Catryntje Renard DeVos who came from France. I verified this information in a book called REGISTERS OF THE DUTCH CHURCH OF KINGSTON, NY 1660-1809.
Moses and Maria were listed as parents of 9 children in the book DUPUY FAMILY HISTORY NICHOLAS AND FRANCOIS FROM FRANCE, Vol. 1 by Ruth P. Heidgird and Jean M. Smith. I could find baptisms for only 8 of the children in the records of the church in Kingston. DuPuy Family History says he married Wyntje Roosa in 1707.
