They could not have been married in 1901, since they had children married in the early 1900's.

Joseph Lafrance, from Saint-Albert, Ontario, son of Odile and Marguerite Theoret, married Marie Eleonore Albina Dupuis, daughter of Augustin and Henriette Prieur 02/20/1882 in Saint-Anicet, Huntingdon county. She signed her name Albina Dupuis.

Albina had one brother and five sisters also married in Saint-Anicet, and her parents were married there too (in 1849), and you can see them in the 1852 Census at http://automatedgenealogy.com/census52/ (at the time, Saint-Anicet was part of Beauharnois county).
